Outdoor Enthusiasts of Converse County
OECC is for those who love the outdoors in and around Converse
County, Wyoming. Adventurers and nature respecters of all kinds are welcome! We organize
community beautification projects, help other organizations with their light trail maintenance, advocate for outdoor
opportunites in the area, and organize
outdoor events like hiking, biking, and kayaking.
Named "Club of the Year" by The Enterprise
for 2024!
Our Mission Statement:
To promote environmental stewardship, community growth, and youth development through outdoor recreation and education.
Monthly Meetings:
We meet the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm at either the La Bonte or First Northern Bank in Douglas.

- April 26 - Trail Building Class - Douglas Library - 10am to 5pm
- May 31 - Douglas Mountain Trails Park Grand Opening - 10am to 5pm
- June 14 - Ride, Row, Run Triathlon
- July 19 - Cowboy Crusher Gravel Race (Aid Station for Casper Group)
- Sept. 20 - Oktoberfest in Douglas - Sidewalk Art Contest & Raffle/li>
- Sept. 27 - Glendo Lake Trail Race 10k/30k
- Dec. TBA - Run, Run Rudolph 5k
Other potential events that are not yet scheduled include: Archery Range Cleanup, Murder Mystery fundraising event, and Haunted Halloween run/walk.
